Tents can be categorized by their intended use into military tents, disaster relief tents, construction tents, camping tents, backpacking tents, hunting tents, fishing tents, ice fishing tents, children’s tents, pet tents, agricultural crop growth tents, party tents, exhibition tents, and more.

These classifications cover most common tent uses. Of course, some very niche tents may be omitted. We welcome your additions, and I will make corrections in the next edition of the manual.
