Aluminum Poles
Aluminum poles are another type of tent support structure, typically used in mid-to-high-end mountaineering tents and professional outdoor tents. They are lightweight and highly flexible, though more expensive than fiberglass poles. Common diameters include 6.9mm, 7.9mm, 8.5mm, 11mm, 13mm, 16mm, 19mm, and 22mm. The umbrella-rib style automatic tents mentioned earlier can also be constructed using aluminum poles. Additionally, aluminum poles serve as support materials for canopy tents and large tent door poles, offering an alternative to steel tubing for structural reinforcement.
