Steel pole is commonly used for the door poles of canopy tents, pyramid tents, bell tents, and large tents, as well as the lower support frames of large tents. Steel poles can also be assembled into automatic frames for erecting large household tents. Typically composed of several sections, they feature a plastic base at the bottom, spring-loaded connectors, and a top pin at the uppermost section. Common diameters include 16mm and 19mm.
