Tent Final Packing

After all sewing is completed, post-production packaging begins. Tents are typically packaged in cardboard boxes. Common packaging formats include color boxes, inner boxes, white boxes, mail-order boxes, outer cartons, PE bags, and cut-resistant boards.

For packaging dimensions, a post-production packaging checklist must be created, detailing the product information, accessories, printed materials, etc., to be included. Finished tents come with an outer bag for storage. Higher-end tents feature an additional PE bag over the outer bag for dust and dirt protection. The most conventional packaging method involves placing several tents directly into one outer carton.

For mail-order customers purchasing tents individually in retail cartons, dedicated mail-order boxes are required.

Clients prioritizing product presentation may opt for color boxes. Multiple color boxes can be packed into a single carton, allowing product and marketing information to be displayed on the boxes—ideal for shelf sales.

For high-standard packaging where damage during transit is a concern, consider using an inner box within the outer carton. This provides enhanced protection but increases costs.

Cut-resistant boards involve placing a layer of single-wall corrugated cardboard on both the top and bottom of the carton. This prevents the tent from being cut by the knife blade when the carton is opened.
